 Introduction. In New Zealand there was a boy that likes to develop facts about a volcano on a island called Rangitoto At the moment I was a scientist but he wished that he could go on a ferry to Rangitoto Island But he is scared of his boss.
But one day his boss told him to go home because he said he was sick but he lied.
Then the scientist went on a ferry to Rangitoto but the volcano started spewing out lava and massive rocks.
 Who? The character is me,myself and I.
What? The volcano started spewing out lava and massive rocks.
Where? It was at Rangitoto Island. When? It was to day.
Why? Because the temperature of the volcano was to high so it spewed out massive rocks and lava. Vaka, I really like the way you have remembered to do the three key elements in the introduction of a narrative and put in bold and to do the 5 W’s Rawiri

What did I learn?

What did I find out?
I found out that if you save money you can use it when there is an emergency and when you borrow something from other people like your friends or your family you must return it back.
I learned that if you have a drivers license,passport and a wallet you must keep it in a safe place so no one can't steal it and pretend to be you.

When? It was on Tuesday afternoon.
What? He finds a portal to another world.
Why? Because he wanted to find out what was at the other side of the portal.

Santa Claus who is a big fat old man that wears a hat on his head with a small white fluffy pom pom was making toys for kids. During a storm when Santa was delivering presents on his sleigh Broke down at the underground train station. When Santa Claus was in side of the underground train station then he walked until it got dark and he fell down it a portal that transport him to another world.

Why we have day and night?

Something you need to know that Earth's southern hemisphere is facing to the sun so that means that the northern hemisphere face to the moon. Did you know that earth is tilted just a little.

Did you know that earth’s rotating on its axis which creates day and night and earth is tilted so one of the part of earth is leaning to the sun and the other side is facing away from the sun so that means we all get different amount of heat and sunlight.

That is takes earth 365 days or rotation to orbit the sun.

DMIC week 1

My group and I learned how to make 3 hours by using the minutes that was on the maths problem. What was most enjoying is working as a team with my group. What was challenging for me is explaining what we did to my class.

First Panmure Bridge

Middle school at Tamaki Primary went to the yacht club to view the site of the old swing bridge that was the first Panmure Bridge to be built.

The first Panmure Bridge was made in 1950.
The first bridge that was made in Panmure was made out of wood.
The first bridge which is the swing bridge was demolished because it was to old for the people to walk on or drive on.
Every farmers goes and crosses the Panmure bridge to go to Pakuranga to buy seeds for their plants.



The bridge that collapsed in America.

A long time ago  a lady was run over by a car so they built a foot bridge.
 It was connected to two buildings because they didn't want  anyone to get run over again.
 It only took six hours for the footbridge to be built.
When the bridge collapsed it landed on the cars that passed underneath.
It landed on 8 lanes and four people passed away.
A few people survived but they got seriously injured so people called the ambulance.
